Problem Solving and Communication from July 10-12, 2019
Dr. Christian Poensgen is offering a seminar (mandatory elective) on “Problem Solving and Communication” as part of the Master’s Course “Entrepreneurial Cybersecurity” and the Bachelor’s Course Cybersecurity from July 10-12, 2019, from 10am to 5pm. The seminar will take place in building E9 1 (CISPA), room 001 (and in room 0.07 on Thursday afternoon).
Contents:
The course will provide students with four competencies for improved problem solving and communication:
- How to initiate a problem-solving process and identify the major aspects of complex problems,
- How to structure complex problems and to break them down into manageable sub-problems,
- How to gather the necessary information and select the appropriate tools for analysis,
- How to structure convincing communication processes and derive optimized charts.
